What Makes It So Soft?
Most pillows are a bag of loose fibre in a cotton shell. Two things make this one different — and they're the two things you'll notice first.
Every square holds its own air
The surface is divided into a grid of stitched squares, and each one is closed on all four sides. That sounds like a detail. It’s the whole thing.
In an ordinary pillow the filling is free to move, so it drifts to the ends and bunches in the corners. By Thursday there’s a flat patch exactly where your ear goes. Here it can’t travel — every cell keeps the loft it started with.
Smooth to the touch, not clammy
The outer fabric is a fine matte knit with a soft, powdery finish — closer to peach skin than to cotton. It’s what you feel in the first five seconds, and it’s why the pillow doesn’t go stiff and papery after a few washes.
It breathes. Cotton holds warmth against your skin, which is why you end up hunting for the cool side at 3am. This doesn’t do that.
100 nights. Then decide.
Not five minutes in a shop with your coat still on. A hundred actual nights.
Not right? We swap it.
Wrong colour, wrong feel — tell us and we’ll sort it first.
Still no? Money back.
Full refund, and you don’t post anything back. Keep the pillow.
How the 100-night trial works
Nights 1–30 — just sleep on it
It takes about a month to stop noticing a new pillow. “I wasn’t sure on night two” isn’t a fair test of anything.
Email us with one photo
The pillow, with your order number written on a piece of paper beside it.
We’ll offer to fix it first
A replacement, or a different colour if the feel isn’t right. Most of the time, that’s the end of it.
If that doesn’t land — full refund
And you don’t post anything back. Keep it, pass it to a guest room, give it to someone who’ll use it.
This trial sits on top of your statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Two ways this goes.
Either it turns up, and in a fortnight you've stopped thinking about your pillow entirely — which is the whole point of a good one.
Or you don't get on with it, you send us one line, and we refund you. You keep the pillow either way.

Will it lose its shape over time?
Will it lose its shape over time?
That's what the puff-grid is for. Each quilted square is stitched closed on all four sides, so the fill can't drift to the ends or bunch in the corners the way it does in an ordinary pillow. At 1kg it's also noticeably heavier than a standard UK pillow, which usually sits between 450g and 700g — there's simply more in there to hold the loft.
Is it soft or firm?
Is it soft or firm?
Soft, and deliberately so. If you like sinking into a pillow, this is the one. If you specifically want a firm orthopaedic pillow that holds your neck in position, this isn't it — and we'd rather tell you now than have you find out on night three.
Does it get warm during the night?
Does it get warm during the night?
The cover is a fine matte knit that breathes, rather than the cotton weave that traps warmth against your skin — which is what has you hunting for the cool side at 3am. Worth knowing: putting a cotton pillowcase over it will undo most of that.
Can I machine wash it?
Can I machine wash it?
Yes, cold cycle, gentle, tumble dry low. The quilted squares stop the filling clumping in the drum, which is usually what ruins a pillow the first time it goes in the machine. It comes out fluffy, not lumpy.
Is it gentle on sensitive skin?

The fill is a down alternative, so there's no feather or down if you react to those. The cover is a smooth synthetic knit with no coatings or treatments applied.
How long is delivery, honestly?
How long is delivery, honestly?
Dispatched within 48 hours, then typically 6 to 10 working days to your door. We ship direct from the facility that makes it rather than through a UK warehouse — that's the trade-off that keeps it at £39.99 instead of £89. You'll get tracking the moment it leaves.
